Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. However, a shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country.

Tuesday

Cold and cloudy weather is expected in most upper areas of the country. However, light rain/light snowfall is likely at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas. Cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.

Wednesday

Cold and cloudy weather is expected in most upper areas of the country. However, light rain/light snowfall is likely at isolated places in Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas. Cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in hilly areas. However, light rain/snow occurred in Dir, Kalam and Bagrote.
