Synoptic Situation

A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and may persist till Wednesday.

Tuesday

Partly cloudy and cold weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain/drizzle with gusty winds (light snow over hills) is expected in northeast Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Wednesday

Cold and cloudy weather is expected in most upper parts of the country. However, light rain/drizzle with gusty winds (light snow over hills) is expected in upper Punjab, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country, while very cold in hilly areas. However, rain occurred at isolated places in northeast Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Jacobabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.

Rainfall (mm): Balochistan: Khuzdar 05, Lasbella 04, Ormara 03, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Malamjabba 04, Chitral, Kalam, Saidu Sharif 01, Kashmir: Rawalakot 03, Sindh: Jacobabad 01, Murree 01.

Snowfall (inch): Malamjabba 2.0, Kalam and Murree 0.5.

Today’s Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Leh -12, Kalam -10, Gupis -08, Skardu -06, Parachinar, Malamjabba -05, Bagrote, Rawalakot, Hunza, Astore, Baramulla, Pulwama -04, Kalat, Shupiyan -03, Gilgit -02, Dir and Quetta -01.
