Synoptic Situation
Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly is also present over northern parts.
Monday
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain (light snowfall over mountains) is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. Fog is likely to prevail in upper Sindh and few plain areas of Punjab during night hours.
Tuesday
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country, while very cold in upper parts. Fog is likely to prevail in upper Sindh and few plain areas of Punjab during morning and night hours.
Past 24-Hour Weather
Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country, while very cold in hilly areas. However light rain/snow occurred in Gilgit Baltistan.
