Synoptic Situation
A westerly wave is affecting western and upper parts of the country.
Wednesday
Rain/snow is expected in north/north-western Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
Thursday
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, more light rain/snow is expected in few districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining area during evening/night. Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in hilly areas. However, rain/snow occurred in Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and north Balochistan.
