Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is affecting north Balochistan and likely to grip upper parts of the country from today evening.

Monday

Cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country, while light rain/snow is expected in northern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.

Tuesday

Cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country, while light rain/snow is expected in northern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. Fog is likely to decrease in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in hilly areas. However, rain occurred at Quetta (Samungli 06, City 04), Nokkundi, Bagrote and Gupis 01 mm.

Today’s Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Leh -13, Babusar -10, Gupis -08, Astore -06, Hunza, Skardu, Bagrote -05, Pulwama, Baramulla, Kalam, Malam Jabba -04, Shopian, Ziarat -03, Srinagar, Anantnag, Mirkhani, Parachinar and Dir -01.
