Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is approaching western and upper parts of the country.

Sunday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while cloudy in upper parts and north Balochistan. However, light rain/snow is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, north and north-western Balochistan. Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.

Monday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while cloudy in upper parts and north Balochistan. However, light rain/snow is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northern Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in hilly areas. However light rain/snowfall recorded in Bagrote.
