Synoptic Situation
A westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country and may persist till tonight.
Wednesday
Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts, while cloudy in upper parts of the country. Light rain/snow is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and its adjoining hilly areas. Smog/fog is likely to increase in plain areas of Punjab during night.
Thursday
Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts, while very cold in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and districts of north Balochistan. Dense smog/fog is likely in plain areas of Punjab during night/morning.

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However, rain (snowfall over the mountain) occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir.
