Islamabad, January 24, 2023 (PPI-OT):Islamabad Capital Police Bhara Kahu police team arrested a wanted member of a criminal gang involved in theft activities and recovered stolen valuables from his possession, a police public relations officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.

Following these directions, a Bhara Kahu police station team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a thief gang involved in different theft activities. The accused was identified as Muhammad Amir. Police team also recovered stolen valuables from his possession. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. Senior police officials appreciated the performance of the police team and further directed the police teams to intensify efforts against the criminals involved in criminal activities.
