Islamabad, December 19, 2022 (PPI-OT):Islamabad capital police Shahzad Town police team has arrested a wanted member of a thief gang and recovered stolen cash from his possession, a Police Public Relation Officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
According to the details, a Shahzad Town police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a thief gang. The accused was identified as
Ghulam Murtaza. Police team also recovered stolen valuables worth 144,000 from his possession. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
Senior police officers appreciated the performance of the police team and further directed all zonal officers to intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
