Wall Collapse in Hangu Injures Two Children Amid Heavy Rainfall

Hangu: Two young boys were injured in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, when heavy rains led to the collapse of a boundary wall on July 23, 2024. The incident underscores the ongoing challenges faced by the region during severe weather events.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the collapse occurred at the residence of Mr. Khaifullah in the Patwari Halqa Kach area of Tehsil Hangu. Ali, aged nine, and Abdul Ahad, aged seven, sustained injuries due to the falling debris. The Additional Deputy Commissioner’s Office (R and HR) of Hangu has been coordinating the response efforts to provide necessary assistance to the affected family.
