Islamabad, February 18, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Embassy of Japan is seeking to fill a vacant post of an Assistant Economic Advisor at the Economic and Development Section. The job of an Assistant Economic Advisor may include some secretarial work (such as arranging appointments); collecting information, making some analysis, and drafting documents on economic and development issues; and assisting coordination between the Embassy and other stakeholders (such as the government, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and the private sector).
Applicants should have proficiency in English and Urdu, computer literacy, keen interests in economic issues and willingness to work as a team. Completion of at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree, in a field relevant to economics or international development is required. New university graduates are welcome.
Each applicant is requested to send a C.V., a recent photo and a copy of the CNIC card to the Embassy of Japan (Address: Plot No. 53-70, Ramna 5/4, Diplomatic Enclave 1, Islamabad, Pakistan (P.O. Box 1119)). Applications must arrive at the Embassy by Monday, 13th March, 2023. Please mark the envelope as “Application for the Assistant Economic Advisor.”
