Islamabad, In a significant move, the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has announced a nationwide reduction in the prices of ghee and cooking oil for well-known brands, a spokesman confirmed.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the price of ghee from popular brands has been decreased by Rs. 17 per kilogram. Additionally, the price of cooking oil has seen a reduction of up to Rs. 48 per liter. These revised rates have come into effect immediately across the country.
This price reduction is expected to provide some relief to consumers amidst the current economic scenario. The USC’s decision aligns with the government’s efforts to make essential commodities more affordable for the general public.
