Islamabad, July 27, 2022 (PPI-OT):The United States will donate 16 million pediatric COVID-19 vaccine doses to Pakistan. According to the spokesperson of the US mission in Islamabad today, the new donation was announced after the first US-Pakistan Health Dialogue in Washington, DC. Moreover, an additional 20 million dollars in USAID funding is also planned to support vaccination efforts in Pakistan.

Ambassador Donald Blome said the United States will continue to engage in Pakistan with a whole-of-government approach to helping strengthen Pakistan’s capacity and infrastructure to combat COVID-19 and other communicable diseases.
