‘Uraan Pakistan’ Program to Shape Economic Future


ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has underscored the importance of cooperative governance and resource management in advancing Pakistan’s economic agenda, emphasizing key areas such as education and population policies for sustainable growth.



According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ahsan Iqbal chaired a consultative meeting with provincial planning and development ministers, stressing the importance of coordinated efforts between national and provincial levels to meet the country’s development objectives.



During the meeting, the minister highlighted the “Uraan Pakistan” program as a pivotal initiative for shaping the nation’s economic future. He called for a collective approach among all stakeholders to align priorities with national interests.



Ahsan Iqbal also introduced a district-level engagement model to facilitate localized implementation. He assured that the Ministry of Planning will collaborate closely with provinces to synchronize development strategies and expedite economic advancement.
