Lucknow, April 19, 2022 (PPI-OT):At a time when Hindutva organizations are calling for complete ban on ‘Azan (the call for Muslim prayer), the Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, has issued a new order regarding loudspeakers.
In many places, Hindutva goons are playing Hanuman Chalisa, Hindu religious songs, in front of the mosque, while some are reciting Hanuman Chalisa, demanding the removal of loudspeakers from the mosque.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Yogi Adityanath has said that ‘everyone has the freedom to worship and worship according to their own religious ideology. “Mic can be used but it should also be ensured that the sound of the mic should not come out of the premises. Installation of mike at new places should not be allowed,” he added.
Yogi also said it is mandatory to take permission before taking out any kind of rally, procession. Netizens have strongly reacted to the order issued by Yogi. A user named Harjeet Kaur wrote tauntingly that ‘It is really a big historical decision. No government had taken such a WAALId decision before. The people of UP became blessed.
A user named Saddam Raza wrote that ‘a big decision would have been made when he said that weapons, swords, knives, sticks, sticks, pistols etc. are completely banned in any religious procession. No violent slogans or songs of any kind shall be raised or sung in the religious procession. Just take out the procession in peace.
A user named Arvind Vishwakarma wrote that ‘In a few days, these people will be seen flouting their decision and Yogi will not be able to do anything. When threats of rape were being made openly, they did nothing. A user named Jitendra Gupta wrote that ‘the right decision is Yogi Sarkar’. The government should ban religious processions across the country.
