Baghpat, December 18, 2022 (PPI-OT):As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged countrywide protests against Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a local party leader in Uttar Pradesh said he would give Rs 2-crore reward to anyone beheading the Pakistani foreign minister. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in a press briefing in New York had said, “Osama Bin Laden is dead but the Butcher of Gujarat and the prime minister of India is alive. The prime minister and interior minister are of RSS which derives inspiration from Hitler.” He said the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) did not believe in the ideology of Gandhi but instead treated his killer as a hero.

The foreign minister’s remarks evoked Indian officials as well the extremist Hindu BJP’s rage against him and Pakistan. Manupal Bansal, a member of Zila panchayat of Baghpat, made the announcement while addressing a protest gathering in Baghpat. “Main elaan karta hoon key jo uss mantri Bilawal Bhutto kaa saar dhar se alag karegaa, 2 crore kaa inaam mai doongaa (I declare that I will give a reward of Rs 2 crore to anyone who will behead minister Bilawal Bhutto),” Bansal said.
