UNSC Condemns Terrorist Attack on Pakistani Security Forces in Dera Ismail Khan

Islamabad, The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on a Pakistani security forces’ post in Dera Ismail Khan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the UNSC expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and to the government of Pakistan following Tuesday’s attack. The council members emphasized the severity of the incident and the broader issue of terrorism.

The UNSC members underscored that terrorism, in all its forms and manifestations, poses one of the gravest threats to international peace and security. They called upon all states to actively cooperate with the Pakistani government and other relevant authorities to address this challenge and prevent future attacks.
