Unlocking Digital Potential: NPO Pakistan And APO Japan Host International Workshop


Islamabad: Mr. Muhammad Asad Islam Mahni, Additional Secretary Industries & Production Division, inaugurated a four-day international training workshop on Strategic Marketing for Digital Transformation today. The workshop, aimed at enhancing digital marketing strategies to drive business growth, was organized by the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in collaboration with Pakistan’s National Productivity Organization (NPO). It featured 18 international participants from APO member countries and 10 local participants.



According to Press Information Department, Mr. Mahni praised the APO for its role in fostering productivity in the Asia-Pacific region during his opening remarks. He emphasized the need to recommit to APO’s vision of inclusive, innovation-led productivity growth and recognized the importance of the workshop in addressing the challenges of marketing in the digital age. The Additional Secretary expressed gratitude towards the international delegates and highlighted the collaborative efforts between APO and NPOs as vital for overcoming emerging challenges in digital transformation.



Mr. Muhammad Alamgir Chaudhry, CEO of NPO, appreciated the efforts of the Additional Secretary and APO’s Program Officer in bringing together distinguished international resource speakers and participants. He detailed NPO’s initiatives such as the National Productivity Master Plan and the Productivity Measurement System, which aim to enhance productivity across Pakistan and link wages to productivity metrics.



The workshop covers critical topics such as digital marketing strategies, data-driven decision-making, and customer-centric approaches, delivered by experts from Malaysia and Pakistan. Participants will gain insights into the latest trends, tools, and practices in strategic digital marketing.



Mr. Dong Jin Lee, Program Officer at APO, Tokyo, emphasized the workshop’s role as a platform for knowledge sharing and networking among marketing professionals across the region. He reiterated APO’s commitment to supporting productivity growth and competitiveness in member countries through such initiatives.
