According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim, Muhammad Razzaq, was a Junior Assistant with the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS). The gunmen forcibly entered his house in the Kundar area of Rajouri and opened fire, leading to Razzaq’s immediate death.
The deceased’s brother is an Indian army soldier serving in the Territorial Army battalion. Following the shooting, Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation in the area to apprehend the assailants. The identities and motives of the attackers remain unknown.
