University of Kashmir Postpones Exams Due to Adverse Weather Conditions

Srinagar, In response to the severe snowfall and rain affecting the Kashmir valley, the University of Kashmir has announced the postponement of all examinations originally scheduled for today and tomorrow. This decision was made to ensure the safety and well-being of students and faculty amidst the inclement weather conditions currently impacting the region of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Controller of Examinations at Kashmir University released a statement confirming the postponement due to the ongoing weather situation. The university has prioritized the safety of its community by delaying the examinations set for February 19 and 20, underscoring the challenging conditions created by the snowfall and rain.

While the University of Kashmir has taken measures to adjust its examination schedule, the Controller of Examinations at Cluster University, Srinagar, has indicated that their exams will proceed as planned on February 19, 2024. This decision reflects the varying approaches educational institutions are taking in response to the weather challenges.

The University of Kashmir has assured that new dates for the postponed exams will be communicated to students in due course, aiming to minimize the disruption to the academic calendar while addressing the immediate weather-related concerns.
