University of Kashmir Postpones Exams Amid Cross-Border Tensions

Srinagar: The University of Kashmir has announced the postponement of all examinations scheduled for May 14, 2025, in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir region. This decision comes in the wake of ongoing cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan, which have already led to the rescheduling of exams since May 7.

The Kashmir Media Service reported that the university is yet to announce new dates for the postponed exams. The notification stated that fresh dates will be communicated separately in due course.

The suspension of exams underscores the impact of the geopolitical situation on educational activities in the region. Students and faculty alike are advised to stay tuned for further updates from university officials.
