Srinagar: In a significant interfaith gathering, Shahi Imam of Punjab, Maulana Mohammad Usman Rehmani Ludhianvi, met with Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosi Al-Safvi, President of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian and Founder of the Anjuman Interfaith Dialogue Chapter, to discuss fostering unity and cooperation among various religious communities.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the meeting focused on addressing contemporary challenges and enhancing the sense of brotherhood within the Ummah. The leaders exchanged views on the critical need for unity and the role of interfaith dialogue in achieving peace and understanding across different sects and religions.
Maulana Ludhianvi commended the efforts of Agha Syed Hassan in establishing the Anjuman Interfaith Dialogue Chapter, which has been instrumental in promoting dialogue and cooperation among diverse religious groups in the region. Following their discussion, the Shahi Imam visited Howzeh Jamia Babul Ilem Oriental College of Learning in Mirgund, Budgam, where he engaged with students and faculty members, further extending his outreach during his trip to the area.
The visit to Karnah, Kupwara, also highlighted by Maulana Ludhianvi’s felicitation of Hafiz e Quran from Darul Uloom Mominaat Kandi Karnah, underscores the ongoing efforts to strengthen religious education and community ties throughout the region.
