Islamabad, December 08, 2021 (PPI-OT):The United Nations General Assembly has approved four disarmament-related resolutions sponsored by Pakistan that are aimed at strengthening regional and international peace and security. The resolutions were recommended by 193-member Assembly’s First Committee where these resolutions were adopted by overwhelming support of its membership.
Talking to APP, the diplomats said approval of the resolutions by the General Assembly is as an acknowledgment of Pakistan’s commitment to promote the objectives of regional and global disarmament as well as strengthening international peace and security.
