UNFPA Delegates Discuss Population Welfare Projects with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Officials

Peshawar, A delegation from the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) met with Malik Liaqat Ali Khan, the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Population Welfare, to discuss ongoing and future initiatives in the region. The meeting highlighted the collaborative efforts between the provincial government and UNFPA in addressing population welfare challenges.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the discussion focused on the details of various population welfare projects that the UNFPA intends to implement in the province. The delegation briefed the Special Assistant on the anticipated visit of the UNFPA Country Director to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which will include meetings with key officials and tours of local Population Welfare Department facilities.

Secretary Population Welfare Department Mutasim Ballah and other senior officials also participated, discussing the current state and future prospects of population welfare in the province, underlining the critical support of UNFPA in these endeavors.
