Paris: UNESCO has formally embraced a proposal from Pakistan aimed at countering disinformation, misinformation, and hate speech, in a move designed to safeguard freedom of expression globally. The proposal was presented by Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, Pakistan’s Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, during the ongoing session of the UNESCO Executive Board held in Paris.
