Muzaffarabad, July 28, 2023 (PPI-OT): Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir has urged the United Nations to take notice of India’s atrocities in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and put pressure on it to give the Kashmiris their birth right to self-determination. Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman, Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Usman Ali Hashim, Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, Liaquat Ali Rana, Qasid Farooq, People’s Party leader Shaukat Javed Mir and others addressing a press conference in Muzaffarabad said the Indian government has committed the worst aggression on August 5, 2019 by repealing the special status of IIOJK. The Modi government has turned the entire occupied territory into a large prison, they added.

They said India is attempting to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle through oppression but would never succeed in its sinister designs. They said that Kashmiris living on both sides of the Line of Control completely reject the unilateral and illegal Indian actions of August 5, 2019, adding that the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir are standing shoulder to shoulder with their brothers of occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their just struggle for right to self-determination. Uzair Ahmed Ghazali and others said on August 5, anti-India demonstrations, rallies and other programmes will be organized in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to mark is as a Black Day.
