UN Chief Demands End To Gaza, Sudan, And Ukraine Conflicts

New York: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has demanded an end to the crises in Gaza, Sudan, and Ukraine. Addressing the UN General Assembly’s opening session in New York, he pressed for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, increased humanitarian assistance to the region, and the liberation of all captives amid escalating starvation and fatalities among Palestinians.

Guterres also appealed for a “durable truce” and peace in Ukraine. The Secretary-General emphasized the necessity of reforms to the global financial structure. He advocated for increased involvement of developing nations in both the system’s composition and decision-making processes.
