Rawalpindi: General Sir Charles Roland Vincent Walker, Chief of the General Staff of the United Kingdom Army, met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, at General Headquarters today. The meeting focused on mutual interests, regional security, and measures to enhance bilateral defense cooperation.
Both military leaders emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to maintain peace and stability in the region. General Walker acknowledged the Pakistan Army’s contributions and sacrifices in fighting terrorism and promoting regional peace.
Upon his arrival at General Headquarters, General Walker laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to honor fallen soldiers. He was also given a guard of honor by a contingent of the Pakistan Army.
