UAE’s Foreign Trade Surges 11 Percent, PM Shehbaz Sharif Lauds as Global Partnership Strengthens


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commended the United Arab Emirates for its notable 11 percent growth in foreign trade, which amounted to $397 billion in the first half of this year, under the leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in a recent post on X, Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the significant strides made in the UAE’s non-oil exports and overall foreign trade. He attributed this success to the UAE’s strategic focus on diversifying its economy and enhancing its global trade relations, which has propelled industrial growth, competitiveness, and innovation.



The Prime Minister emphasized that the UAE, under President Mohamed bin Zayed’s guidance, has solidified its reputation as a steadfast and influential trade partner on the global stage. This achievement not only demonstrates the UAE’s economic resilience but also its growing potential as a major player in international trade.



Sharif also credited President Mohamed bin Zayed’s dynamic leadership for the UAE’s economic achievements, which he said are pivotal in realizing the vision of transforming the nation into a central hub for global commerce.
