U.S. Independence Day Reception Celebrates Continued Partnership with Pakistan

Islamabad: The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad hosted a vibrant reception to commemorate the 248th anniversary of U.S. independence, reinforcing the enduring partnership between the United States and Pakistan. The event, themed ‘Made in the USA,’ was attended by dignitaries from various sectors and featured American cultural elements, highlighting the countries’ shared values of freedom and economic prosperity.

According to Embassy of the United States of America, Ambassador Donald Blome and the chief guest, Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Planning Development and Special Initiatives, addressed the attendees, underscoring the multifaceted cooperation between the two nations. The reception showcased the significant impact of U.S. support in Pakistan, especially in infrastructure and energy, as well as the pivotal role of U.S. firms in employing and training Pakistanis across various industries.
