U.S. Ambassador Meets with Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister on Key Issues

Islamabad, U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, Amb. David Blome, held a meeting with Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad today, touching upon a range of priority topics from economic stabilization to the current electoral proceedings.

According to a news release by the Prime Minister Office, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar apprised the U.S. Ambassador of the government’s active measures in crucial areas. These include efforts to stabilize the nation’s economy, oversee the return of illegal foreigners, and manage the ongoing electoral process. Besides domestic issues, regional developments, notably the situation in Gaza, were also part of the dialogue. Reiterating the historical bond between the two nations, Prime Minister Kakar underscored the importance of maintaining robust Pakistan-U.S. relations.
