U.A.E. Ambassador Meets Pakistan Prime Minister to Bolster Bilateral Ties


Islamabad, In a significant diplomatic engagement, the U.A.E. Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, met with Pakistan’s Prime Minister to discuss strengthening the multifaceted relationship between the two nations. The meeting underscored the mutual interest in deepening economic, political, and cultural ties, reflecting the longstanding fraternity between the U.A.E. and Pakistan.



According to Press Information Department, the Ambassador conveyed the U.A.E. President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s congratulations and good wishes to the Prime Minister on his re-election, expressing hopes for enhanced bilateral relations. In response, the Prime Minister reciprocated with acknowledgments and emphasized the importance Pakistan places on its relationship with the U.A.E.



Highlighting the evolution of the U.A.E. into a dynamic hub of commerce, tourism, and investment, the Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s eagerness to collaborate more closely, particularly in realms such as agriculture, IT, and renewable energy. He pointed out the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s role in drawing foreign investment to critical sectors as a testament to Pakistan’s commitment to fostering a robust economic partnership.



The Prime Minister also lauded the U.A.E.’s diplomatic and humanitarian efforts, including its role in hosting the COP 28 climate change conference and its contributions to peacekeeping, notably in Gaza. He acknowledged the significant Pakistani diaspora in the U.A.E., which serves as a vital human bridge linking the two countries.



The exchange concluded with mutual invitations to visit, signifying a shared enthusiasm for advancing diplomatic and economic engagement. This meeting reinforces the enduring alliance between the U.A.E. and Pakistan, setting a positive tone for future cooperation.
