Two Soldiers Martyred in North Waziristan Firefight Against Terrorists

Islamabad, In a violent encounter on the night of November 12-13, 2023, in North Waziristan District’s Mir Ali area, Pakistan’s security forces engaged in a firefight with terrorists. The clash resulted in the death of one terrorist and the martyrdom of two Pakistani soldiers, Sepoy Abdullah and Sepoy Muhammad Sohail.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces successfully targeted a terrorist hideout, leading to the elimination of one terrorist. However, the intense exchange of fire claimed the lives of two brave soldiers, Sepoy Abdullah, aged 25, from Mardan, and Sepoy Muhammad Sohail, aged 19, from Tharparkar. The ISPR also informed that ongoing operations are in place to sanitize the area and neutralize remaining terrorist threats. The loss of Sepoy Abdullah and Sepoy Muhammad Sohail underscores the Pakistani security forces’ commitment to combatting terrorism.
