Islamabad, December 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):Two robbers were gun down and three police personnel sustained bullet injuries during an encounter between the armed muggers and the law enforcers here on Saturday morning. The robbers were associated with the notorious Bilal Gang who have been involved in dacoity with murder, house robberies and snatching incidents in the areas of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The gang leader Bilal Sabit who was accused in the killing of Former South Waziristan deputy commissioner (DC) Nauman Afzal Afridi at Fateh Jang Toll Plaza during September this year escaped along with his companions. The law enforcement agencies were conducting search operations to arrest other members of the gang.

The police announced award for the person who inform the police about the gang and his name would be kept hidden. The accused name Muhammad Bilal S/o Sabit Khan resident of Peshawar CNIC number 61101-1763910-5. Information about the accused can be shared on the given numbers.
