Two Pakistani Soldiers Martyred in Anti-Terror Operation in Peshawar


Peshawar, Two members of the Pakistan Armed Forces, Captain Hussain Jahangir Shaheed and Havaldar Shafiqullah Shaheed, were martyred in a targeted intelligence-based operation against terrorists in the Hasan Khel area of Peshawar district. The operation, which took place recently, aimed at eliminating terrorist threats in the region.



According to Inter Services Public Relations, Captain Hussain Jahangir Shaheed, aged 25 from District Rahim Yar Khan, and Havaldar Shafiqullah Shaheed, aged 36 from District Kirk, played critical roles in the operation. Their commitment was part of a broader effort by the armed forces to rid the country of terrorism.



The funeral of the martyred soldiers was marked by the attendance of numerous senior military officers, family members, and locals, demonstrating widespread support and respect for their sacrifice. Both soldiers were buried with full military honors in their native lands, reflecting the high esteem in which they are held.



The ISPR statement further emphasized that the sacrifices of such heroes fortify the military’s resolve to continue their fight against terrorism, ensuring the safety and security of Pakistan. The armed forces remain committed to eradicating the menace of terrorism from the motherland at any cost.
