Islamabad: In Islamabad, two children who were reported missing have been safely returned to their families, thanks to the efforts of the Shams Colony and Bhara Kahu police station teams. The children were reunited with their families after the police utilized both technical and human resources to trace them.
According to Islamabad Capital Police announcement issued on 18 September 2024, the Shams Colony and Bhara Kahu police station teams received distress applications from citizens reporting their children missing. Despite extensive searches by the families, the children could not be located. Following the applications, the police teams engaged in a detailed search operation using various resources, which eventually led to the successful location and safe recovery of the children.
The families of the reunited children expressed their gratitude towards the police teams for their prompt and effective action. They also praised the Islamabad Police for their immediate response and assistance in a time of distress.
The police have encouraged citizens to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities or persons by dialing the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” or through the “ICT-15 app.”
