Two Members of Snatcher Gang Arrested by Islamabad Police

Islamabad, The Islamabad Police successfully arrested two members of a notorious snatcher gang, recovering stolen mobile phones and weapons.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the arrests were made by the Tarnol police team as part of a city-wide crackdown on criminal activities, following orders from Inspector General of Police, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

The operation was conducted using a combination of technical surveillance and ground intelligence, leading to the apprehension of the individuals identified as Haider Ali and Sultan Khan. Both were involved in numerous snatching incidents across the city. A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway to uncover additional aspects of the gang’s operations. The IGP has also directed all senior officers to intensify efforts to combat crime and ensure the safety of the public.
