Two Indian Soldiers Killed in Shell Explosion During Training in Maharashtra

Mumbai: In a tragic incident at the Artillery Centre in Nashik district, Maharashtra, a shell explosion killed two soldiers from the Indian army during a live-fire training session.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the explosion occurred while a team of Agniveers was operating an Indian field gun. The deceased have been identified as Agniveers Gohil Vishwaraj Singh, aged 20, and Saifat Shit, aged 21.

A case of accidental death has been registered at the Deolali Camp police station following a report from Havildar Ajit Kumar. Authorities have launched an investigation to ascertain the details and cause of the blast.

Indian officials have confirmed that the incident took place afternoon in the Nashik Road area, prompting a review of safety measures during military training exercises.
