Two Indian Paramilitary CoBRA commandos injured in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, May 24, 2023 (PPI-OT): Two commandos of Indian Central Reserve Police Force were injured in an attack in the Indian disturbed state of Chhattisgarh. According to Kashmir Media Service, the two paramilitary commandos were injured in an attack by Naxalite guerrillas when the joint team of the District Reserve Guard and the CRPF’s Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) launched a search operation between Pusnar and Hiroli villages under the jurisdiction of Gangaloor police station in Bijapur district of the state, police said.

The police claimed that two to three Naxalite guerrillas were also injured in the gun fight. Meanwhile, a 26-year-old woman was shot at by a police constable in Munger city of the Bihar state hours before her marriage was scheduled, police said.

The incident took place when the victim had gone to a beauty parlour for bridal make-up at Naya Bazar under the Kotwali police station jurisdiction. The accused constable, Aman Kumar also reached there and shot at her. The bullet hit the lady at her left shoulder from behind. Another woman, who was working in the parlour, tried to catch him but failed. The accused fled from the spot, the police added.
