Jamshedpur, January 21, 2023 (PPI-OT):Two commandos of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in the Indian state of Jharkhand. According to Kashmir Media Service, the IED blast was triggered during an ongoing operation against Naxalites at Tumbahaka forest located in Chaibasa area of West Singhbhum district. Two personnel of Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) were injured in the explosion.
The injured personnel were airlifted and taken to Ranchi city for treatment. It is to mention here that there has been a series of blasts over the past few days. On January 11, six CRPF personnel were injured in an IED explosion, while on January 12, three others sustained injuries in a similar blast in the same area.
