Two Indian CRPF commandos injured in Chhattisgarh attack

Raipur, March 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): Two commandos of the CRPF’s Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) were critically injured in an attack in Indian disturbed state Chhattisgarh. Sukma Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma talking to the media said, “A joint team of the Special Task Force and Commando Battalion for Resolute Action of the CRPF had launched the operation from Dabbamarka camp towards Sakler when the exchange of fire took place.”

The Indian commandos, identified as Inspector Munesh Kumar Meena of CoBRA’s 202nd battalion and Constable Amit Modak of CoBRA’s 208th battalion, were injuries in an attack with Naxal Guerrillas in Sukma district of the Indian state.

Indian police said that at least half a dozen Naxal guerrillas were injured by Indian forces of Special Task Force (STF) and Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA’s 202nd and 208th battalions) of the CRPF in the firefight during operation in Dabbamarka camp towards of Sukma district. The Indian military operation was going on in several areas of Sukma district.
