TWI pays tributes to Abid Kashmiri, other martyrs Srinagar, July 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI), paying tributes to all Kashmiri martyrs, including Abid Kashmiri, has reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the martyrs’ mission till its complete success.
The spokesman of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami, Shahid Ali in a statement issued in Srinagar said that a prayer session of the organization was held in Budgam to pay tributes to Abid Kashmiri on his 27th martyrdom anniversary. He said that the speakers on the occasion highlighted the philosophy of martyrdom.
The participants of the prayers session said that the Kashmiri youth were sacrificing their lives for a great cause and their sacrifices had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at international level. They added that sacrifices of martyrs were a valuable asset of the Kashmir freedom movement, which would be protected at all costs.
They said that despite the Indian oppression, the people of Kashmir would continue their just struggle for right to self-determination guaranteed to them by the United Nations and the international community. On the occasion, the participants prayed for the high ranks of Abid Kashmir in Jannah and also prayed for freedom from Indian subjugation.
