Turkiye Marks Centenary of Its Republic Day

ISLAMABAD, The Turkish Republic is celebrating its 100th Republic Day today, commemorating a century since its establishment by the revered national independence leader, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

According to a news release by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the momentous day a century ago marked a pivotal moment in history when the Turkish nation achieved a significant victory against foreign occupation and imperialism. The unwavering determination, bravery, and unity of the Turkish people were pivotal in achieving Turkiye’s freedom, independence, and the establishment of its national sovereignty.

In the arduous War of Independence against foreign powers, the courageous Turkish nation received heartfelt support from the Muslims of South Asia, underscoring the bond and camaraderie between the regions.
