Turkey’s Saadet Party chief condoles Syed Ali Gilani’s death

Islamabad, September 12, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Chairman of Saadet Party of Turkey, Temel Karamollaoğlu has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the death of the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani. Temel Karamollaoglu in a condolence letter to APHC-AJK chapter Convener, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani and Ghulam Muhammad Safi, the Convener of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir AJK chapter, eulogized the lifetime struggle and vision of Syed Ali Gilani for the freedom of Kashmir.

He said that the veteran leader will always be remembered in and outside for his great stance and determination in front of India’s obdurate and repressive policies. “He was an influential and uncompromising leader of the Freedom Movement in Kashmir who refused to engage with India over the future of that troubled Himalayan region and he continued his struggle against India’s oppression and illegal occupation. As a great leader with Islamic vision, Syed Ali Gilani made a significant contribution to the Kashmiris’ struggle for their right to self-determination and suffered lifelong persecution at the hands of India.”

He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with patience. In their reply, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani and Ghulam Muhammad Safi thanked the Saadat Party chief for his condolence message on the death of Qaed-e-Hurriyat, Syed Ali Gilani.
