ISLAMABAD, With only two days left, Tuesday is set to be the concluding day for illegal foreign nationals in the country to depart, making it clear that those remaining after the specified time will face stringent repercussions.
According to a news release by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the government has firmly decided against any extensions to the previously set deadline for the voluntary repatriation of illegal foreign residents, which includes Afghans, back to their home countries. In preparation for the deadline’s expiration, law enforcement agencies have concluded both geo-fencing and geo-mapping of these illegal residents.
Post the deadline, the authorities will initiate actions against any remaining illegal foreign nationals. This includes not only legal actions but also the confiscation of all their movable and immovable properties.
