Tragic Roof Collapse in Srinagar Claims One Life, Injures Two


Srinagar: In a devastating incident in Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, one man lost his life and two others sustained injuries when the roof of an under-construction house collapsed. The accident occurred in the Maharaj Gunj area of the city.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the tragedy struck while the workers were engaged in construction activities. The structural support unexpectedly failed, leading to the collapse. A local relative of the deceased reported that Mohammad Ismail Shuloo, 58, who was working as a mason, died from the incident. The two injured individuals were swiftly transported to a hospital, where Shuloo was pronounced dead upon arrival. The other two are currently receiving medical treatment.



The loss of Mohammad Ismail Shuloo, who leaves behind a wife and two sons, has deeply affected the community, prompting an outpouring of grief and condolences. In response to the incident, local police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the collapse and to address any potential safety violations at the construction site.
