Tragic Road Incidents Claim Five Lives in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir


Jammu, In a series of unfortunate road accidents, five individuals, including a minor girl, lost their lives in separate incidents across the Samba, Poonch, and Ramban districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on Wednesday.



According to Kashmir Media Service, among the deceased were two sadhus, Baba Bhim Giri and Suresh Kumar, who were fatally struck by a truck on the Jammu-Pathankot highway. The truck driver fled the scene, and police are currently attempting to locate him. In another accident, Mohd Naseer Khan died when his vehicle skidded off the road into a gorge in Poonch.



Additionally, a young girl named Saboora Rafiq was killed by a speeding truck near Banihal, with the driver subsequently arrested by the police. A further incident on the same highway in Ramban resulted in a truck driver’s death and injuries to two passengers, with authorities still working to identify the deceased.
