Jammu, A tragic road accident in Doda district of illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir resulted in the death of a police head constable, while a separate fire incident in Baramulla district led to the destruction of three residential houses.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred when a vehicle carrying Head Constable Roshan Lal, along with a Sector Magistrate, skidded off the Khilani Marmat Link Road and plunged into a deep gorge, leading to Lal’s immediate death. The specific circumstances surrounding the accident, including the condition of the Sector Magistrate and potential causes, have not been disclosed.
In a different part of the region, the Dangiwacha Rafiabad area of Baramulla district witnessed a devastating fire that razed three houses to the ground. A Fire and Emergency Services official reported that the fire consumed one double-storeyed and two single-storeyed houses. Preliminary investigations suggest that the blaze was sparked by a gas cylinder leak, highlighting the dangers of household gas usage without proper safety measures.
