Jammu: In a heartrending incident in Kishtwar, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two minor brothers drowned while bathing in a local stream in the Bonjwah area, leading to their untimely deaths.
According to Kashmir Media Service, officials reported that Nasir Hussain, aged 16, and Yasir Hussain, aged 13, both residents of Gundoo in the Chilli Pingil tehsil of Doda district, tragically lost their lives in the accident. A police team, along with local volunteers, conducted a search operation lasting about four hours before recovering the bodies from the stream. Following legal formalities, the bodies were returned to their family. Local police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning to prevent future tragedies of this nature.
