Lahore: The Punjab Police are intensifying efforts to curb illegal aerial firing following the death of 16-year-old Ayesha, who was tragically killed in the Manawan area of Lahore. This incident has prompted a strong response from law enforcement officials, aimed at addressing the broader issues of weapon misuse during public celebrations.
According to Punjab Police, Inspector General Dr. Usman Anwar has ordered the immediate arrest of the individuals involved in the incident and called for a stringent enforcement of laws against aerial firing and the public display of weapons. Dr. Anwar has also assured Ayesha’s family that justice will be expedited in response to this senseless act, reflecting the authorities’ commitment to enforce public safety and uphold law and order during events and gatherings.
